Welcome Speech by Sabyasachi Bhattacharya at the 2024 Annual Conference

In his opening speech at the 2024 Annual Conference of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, Sabyasachi Bhattacharya, President - Group HR, reflected on the journey of the organisation since 2020.  He introduced the theme of the conference, 'Reinvent', explaining that reinvention had been an ongoing process within the Group rather than a sudden shift. He mentioned that according to the Oxford English Dictionary, to reinvent something means to change it so much that it seems completely new. He emphasized on the necessity for the Group to embrace a mindset of significant and bold scaling, advocating for thinking at a magnitude of 10x rather than just 3x to stay ahead .

Sabyasachi Bhattacharya further highlighted the importance of speed in conjunction with scale.  He revisited the meaning and origin of the Dhanu Chakra - the Group's logo, as a reminder of what the Group stands for.

He also highlighted that the Group has been actively reinventing itself for several years by adding new businesses, growing existing ones, and enhancing the technological and digital capabilities.
